Burger & Shake V

Today we had the pleasure of having lunch at this recently opened establishment. They are just 2 doors down from Mestizo's that I wrote about earlier. Even though they were fairly busy, they took our order promptly and our food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the Hamburger Special which includes crinkle cut fries and a drink for $4.95. My husband also ordered a Slaw Dog and we ordered a regular hot dog for our daughter. From the first bite I was extremely impressed even by the taste of the soft burger bun and the fries were perfect. Their iced tea is also very fresh. Everything is made to order. I have to say for a "normal" burger this food beats any other burger place I have been to in the area. Even though we did not order any milkshakes, we watched them make several while we ate our lunch. The milkshakes are made with real dipped ice cream and real milk and each one is hand spun. I was very tempted and I am sure we will return to try the shakes. We found the flavors like butterscotch, peanut butter and pineapple to be very tempting. I also was very tempted to want to try the cookies. I saw them in the case and they were extra thick and looked very tasty. There are so many items on the menu I am very interested in trying, the choices are many. This restaurant and family owned and run and they are very attentive to every detail. We will be telling our friends and we are confident that the other customers will do the same.
